Cherryfield Town Square is the heart of Cherryfield’s downtown National Historic District, at the intersection of the Bold Coast and Blackwoods Scenic Byways. The site was originally developed as a hotel, and later converted into a garage, first as Cherryfield Motors and then as Blueberry Ford.
Reactivating this site as a Community and Visitor Center with a wild blueberry focused theme creates a welcoming community space that celebrates the heritage of Cherryfield, revitalizes the center of our historic district, and helps boost the economy of the surrounding Downeast region.
Cherryfield Town Square will include history and heritage exhibits, an art gallery, visitor information, a retail shop, and indoor and outdoor space for events, farm markets, classes, and other activities.
